These jackets were crafted in soft silk, padded with ultra light heat retaining batting material for a cushion like softness. Featuring panel printed unique stories inspired by daily life in Tokyo.
“Ropes” can be many things in Japanese culture; spiritually guarding off the shrines or the naughty knots in the art of rope binding “Kinbaku” or simply tying objects together. Here an elegant trompe l’oeil version of it in pink and orange.
